The appointment will be on a full-time fixed tenure basis for a period of 3 years.
These positions are dying positions and will not exist after the tenure. However, based on the performance of candidate, tenure will be extended on mutual consent. Institute is likely to advertise for the regular faculty positions. All tenure/adhoc candidates will be permitted to apply for these positions.
Preference will be given to candidates belonging to socially challenged groups.
Reservation will be followed as per applicable norms. Candidates belonging to reserved categories must attach a valid caste certificate and caste validity certificate / Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application. Candidates belonging to the EWS category must attach a valid income certificate issued by the competent authority.
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, use innovative approach and have a research-oriented mind-set.
Candidates must bring all relevant original certificates/documents along with a valid photo ID proof for verification at the time of the interview. Hard copies of the duly filled application form with signature, self-attested photograph, and self-attested copies of all required certificates/documents must be submitted at the time of the personal interview.
Candidates who have submitted their M.Tech. thesis are also eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor.
Ad-hoc/Temporary faculty currently working at S.P.I.T. are also encouraged to apply for these positions.
Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are eligible to apply under the Ph.D. category.
Annual increments will be granted based on annual performance.
